About this Winery
Weingut am Steinig Tisch is a third-generation family estate in Thal, set on the steep, south-facing Buchberg above Lake Constance. Roman Rutishauser farms around 7.5 hectares of vineyards terraced with Rorschach sandstone walls. The estate is known for its Kerner — the first planted in Switzerland, in 1973 — alongside Riesling-Silvaner, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.
