About Räuschling

Räuschling is one of Switzerland's rarest indigenous white grapes, grown almost exclusively around Lake Zürich. Once widely planted across German-speaking Switzerland, it declined sharply in the 20th century but has been revived by a dedicated group of producers. The wines are high in acidity, lean, and mineral — an acquired taste that rewards curiosity. It pairs naturally with Zürich's freshwater fish dishes and is a wine that you genuinely cannot find outside the Lake Zürich region.
